Kyou Kara Maou . YUURI . Cute 15 year old occasionally
confident, occasionally not, male lead of the series. He's your
average teenage boy, but beneathe the surface, Yuuri is so
much more.
. GUNTER . Refined, kind, thoughful, and
overprotective right hand man of Yuuri. He's very dedicated
to his king.
This pairing seems a bit one sided for now,
but still, the feelings Gunter apparently has for his king can't be
ignored.
POINT 1
Gunter is far too appreciative of Yuuri's so called noble appearance. He's basically impressed by even the smallest things Yuuri does. And Gunter makes no secrets of his admiration, blushes and all Yuuri: Are you really sure I'm the king? Gunter: I knew the moment I laid eyes on you... Your noble black hair, your piercing black eyes, and above all your pitch black garments. Yuuri: Well this is just... er.. my school uniform!
POINT 2
In episode 2, Gunter decides it's time for the new king Yuuri to meet some of
his higher ranking subjects and he tells him to get ready for a big dinner.
Of course he's picked out Yuuri's clothes. Most specifically his underwear.
It's not your normal breifs or boxers, but some skimpy little black thing from
pic no 2 to your left. Gunter has "insolent thoughts" about Yuuri in said under
garments.
POINT 3
At the dinner, the previous queen the notorioud flirt starts to hit on Yuuri at the table. Gunter, looking pissed, pries her hands off of Yuuri. Gunter: Please don;t fall in love with the new Maou (demon king), EX-maou. Cheri: Oh Gunter, you sound like a jealous lover.
POINT 4
Gunter is VERY protective, VERY devoted, and VERY dedicated in his duties a chief
officer to the new king Yuuri. He worries over every little thing that could possibly
cause even a momentary discomfort for Yuuri. Yuuri had gotten into a duel, being the
main character he went all out and tires himself out. Gunter watched over his, VERY
closely for days while he slept. The look of relief on his face when he saw that Yuuri
would be fine.
POINT 5
In the ending credits, Gunter chases Yuuri with hearts over his head for about 2
munites as the ending song plays out. Yuuri runs away, but Gunter always catches and
glomps him. It's quite amusing. ^^
POINT 6
In one episode Guter, Yuuri and the others are looking for clues as to
who stole some precious gem from the kingdom. While poking around in
a storage room, Gunter knocks over some boxes and a strange talismen falls on his
head. It turns out that talismen put a curse on him, so that everytime he so much
looks at Yuuri his head feels like it will explode.
You won't believe how much he moped after that! Gunter: This is a curse! It has to be! Ancient hatred is trying to pull
his Majesty and I apart. I have to leave his Majesty's side now...
